A High Court judge has refused to reverse his decision that Kapiti Coast District Council was right to have placed controversial foreshore hazard lines on the Lim reports of coastal properties. Justice Joe Williams found in favour of the council in an interim judgment in December 2013. Kapiti property owner Mike Weir filed a memorandum in November last year, asking for the judge’s decision to be reversed. But Williams has confirmed his decision.
