Fashion news, tips, style notes........ ................................................... 8, 9, 11 Neil Rosenthal: Our mistakes are our teachers ....... 6 The cultural spirit of the Wairarapa comes alive at the Kokomai Creative Festival, running for 10 days from this weekend. More than 60 events – music, theatre, and dance performances, as well as visual arts, film, and literary events – will be held in rural halls and venues around the region. Singer Don McGlashan performs this Saturday in Masterton, while Motu: Oileain, a collaboration between Irish musicians and Trinity Roots, takes the stage in Carterton next weekend. We love the special Thunderpants that the local Martinborough underwear brand has designed especially for the event, on sale through thunderpants.co.nz. Each pair of Kokomai Huia underpants goes towards supporting the festival.
