Soggy start to day for driver

A Hawke’s Bay motorist ended up in the drink early yesterday after driving off the road into one of Napier’s wetlands. Police were called to the bog just after 7.30am, and discovered the driver, who was not injured. The grey Ford Falcon was removed from the wetland near Waitangi Regional Park about 8.30am.
