National finance man after full costing of coalition deal

After new Finance Minister Grant Robertson did the rounds on the weekend TV shows, his old opponent Steven Joyce wasted no time in attacking him. While Labour has costed its own policies, a full costing of the coalition package has not yet been made available. Robertson says he hasn’t had full access to Treasury yet, but Joyce says this isn’t good enough. ‘‘He’s either had them costed and doesn’t like what they add up to, or not had them costed. Either way it’s not a reassuring start.’’
