RSA gets $250,000 in funding, thanks to Ron Mark

Defence Minister Ron Mark has secured a $250,000 grant for the Returned Services Association (RSA). Mark said under the previous Labour-NZ First coalition, the RSA received baseline funding of $250,000 a year but that had been scrapped under National. He signalled the grant in November during a speech to the RSA National Council, when he said: ‘‘I’m pretty confident that there will be discussions a little bit later on, which you might like the outcome of.’’
