If you’re not keen on giving sugar to kids for Easter tomorrow, then a rabbit or chicken clothing accessory might be the gift you’re looking for.

I’ve chosen pieces that work together as an outfit with my sporty 7-year-old niece in mind, but fast fashion retailers such as Cotton On, Seed Heritage and Country Road have entire Easter ranges for boys, girls and babies.

Aimed squarely at aunties, mums and grandmas, there are charming rabbit-shaped hats, furry bags and festive shoes as well as plenty of cute, inventive pieces that kids may be nonchalant about, but that will melt adults at five paces.
