Road rage ‘victim’ sought

-

A 19-year-old man has been charged with dangerous driving after a road rage incident in Napier. About 7pm on Monday, police saw the man’s van tail-gating a car on Riverbend Rd. Detective Steve Leonard said police were concerned at the man’s driving so they followed him with sirens and lights going. He pulled over after a few minutes. Leonard said the teen, who was driving a white van, appeared to have become angry with the occupants in the other car as he felt they were driving too slowly. Leonard said police would like to speak to the occupants of the car being followed. It is described as a white ute or truck. The man has been charged with dangerous driving and will appear in court next week.
