Coll into quarters

New Zealand’s world No 7 Paul Coll has had another solid victory in the Cairo Squash Open Platinum tournament with a win over England’s Chris Simpson in straight games in the third round. Simpson was forced to come through a tough five-game battle with Egypt’s Zahed Salem in the previous round, while Coll defeated United States No 1 Todd Harrity 3-0 and it was the New Zealander who carried his winning momentum through. Coll powered through to his 11-4 11-8 11-5 win in just 46 minutes.
