Quinovic admits its reviews are fake

Property management firm Quinovic admits a slew of Facebook reviews are fake and that its Google reviews are, too. On Sunday allegations emerged on Stuff that a series of rave Facebook reviews of Quinovic Te Aro were fake. That prompted several people to come forward and say the same about the franchisee’s Google reviews, which had seen Quinovic Te Aro achieve an average rating of four-out-of-five on the site. In a statement to Stuff, Quinovic’s chief operating officer Paul Chapman said the firm had ‘‘concluded that the reviews are fake’’. Chapman said there was no record on the Quinovic database of property owners or tenants associated with alleged fake Facebook reviews. Fake reviews had also been found and ‘‘flagged’’ on Google. ‘‘We have been assured by Quinovic Te Aro’s Principal, Alex Khera, that the franchise, its owners, staff and contractors are not associated with the Facebook and Google reviews in anyway whatsoever.’’
