Campbell read news ‘tipsy’

John Campbell confessed to Anika Moa he has presented the news while ‘‘moderately tipsy’’. In a new episode of Anika Moa Unleashed, Moa asked the broadcaster if he ever read the news while ‘‘boozed, wasted or hungover to the max’’. Campbell, 54, replied, ‘‘Not to the max. Probably boozed a couple of times, but moderately tipsy rather than to the max.’’ The pair went on to discuss Campbell’s love of swearing, and chicken and rice.
