Meth lab found in forest
Police discovered a meth lab camouflaged beneath plants in a forest while they were searching for a missing man. The hut had been disguised to blend in with the surrounding plants, using twigs and ferns. Officers discovered the lab at the weekend while they were searching for a man who was reported missing in Russell State Forest, Northland. The 52-year-old man was last seen going into the forest last Wednesday and his family reported him missing to police on Saturday morning. The man was found and was helping police with inquiries into the meth lab.
