I’ve just read Vince Dravitzki’s article (Take the bus, there’s one in

2min, Aug 1). I think it’s the best overall plan for transport and emissions in Wellington I’ve read.

The man has much experience in this field. Why don’t we drag him out of retirement and get him to produce a plan and costings for his idea and with political support let him loose?

With dithering councils and hopeless committees, give it to one person and we might achieve something special.
