Australian snooker star been mocked after being unaware the acclaimed Chernobyl TV series was based on a real event. The 2010 world champion tweeted: ‘‘Just finished watching Chernobyl. Wow that was fantastic! Had no idea it was actually true until the end clips.’’ His post caused great delight, with fans suggesting there were other things to watch he may enjoy. ‘‘You should try Titanic mate. It’s a bit far fetched for a film but a great watch,’’ one replied. Robertson defended his lack of knowledge when told he’d had a shocker with his admission. ‘‘Why’s that? Was never talked about in school in Australia and I’ve certainly never heard anyone talk about it since I’ve been living here,’’ said the UK-based cueist.
