Big win for Venus

New Zealand’s Michael Venus has underlined his credentials as one of the world’s best doubles players after coming up trumps at the Citi Open ATP 500 tournament in Washington DC. Venus and South African playing partner Raven Klaasen came from a set down to beat Romanian Horia Tecau and the Netherlands’ Jean-Julien Rojer 3-6 6-3 10-2 in the final yesterday. The victory is the duo’s third ATP title together.
