Eggs on sale for 1 cent

The Warehouse is clearing out the last of its Easter chocolate for the grand price of 1 cent each. But you’ll be lucky to snag some, as most stores sold out within a day of the goodies going on sale on Monday. Kiwis were unable to pick up their usual stash of treats because of Easter occurring during the level 4 lockdown. A spokesman for The Warehouse said that before stores had closed for lockdown, staff had been allowed to take home Easter eggs for themselves and their families. They had also donated thousands of eggs to Women’s Refuge and Kiwi Harvest to reach families in need.
