Pregnancy labels on alcohol

Pregnancy warning labels on alcohol will now be mandatory, after in an effort to combat foetal alcohol syndrome. Health ministers from Australian states and territories and New Zealand Food Safety Minister Damien O’Connor met yesterday to approve the changes. People have been pushing for mandatory pregnancy warnings on alcohol since the 1990s.
