Politicians in general have big egos. Party leaders in particular have very big egos. Todd Muller, the former National Party leader, did not have a huge ego, which in a way led to his departure.

Judith Collins, on the other hand, has an outsized ego – bigger than almost anyone else in Parliament, except perhaps Winston Peters.
