No need of cycleway

I fully agree with Katie Underwood that there is no need for a separate cycleway way on Brooklyn hill as the road is wide enough to easily accommodate cars and cyclists (Controversial plan recycled in Brooklyn, May 3).

Even a trial of a cycleway is wasted money because once it’s there and the money is spent, it will not be taken away again.

I’d rather the money was spent on extending the Night Shelter so people don’t have to sleep on the streets during the winter.
