Conway joins Somerset
Devon Conway will be the sixth Black Cap to play in England’s Twenty20 Blast this winter after signing for Somerset on a short-term deal. The 29-year-old Wellington batsman had a sensational first summer in international cricket and could make his test debut against England at Lord’s next month. The South African left-hander, who was granted his New Zealand residency visa last month, has been an instant success in his first 14 T20 internationals and three one-day internationals (ODIs). He will join Somerset from June 23-July 18 after the World Test Championship final between the Black Caps and India.
