We’re loving Spotting NZ in Sweet Tooth

-

NZ playwright and director Toa Fraser tweeted ‘‘that’s pretty cool’’ this week as Sweet Tooth became the most-watched thing on both US and NZ Netflix. And proud he should be, Fraser was a director on the TV show, which was filmed in New Zealand and is bursting with Kiwi talent (not least the lush landscapes and suburban streets of Aotearoa). The show itself is worth a watch if you loved The Goonies and dig comic book adaptations (plus, the stirring James Brolin is narrator). But really it’s the landscapes that won us over. The novelty of going ‘‘I know where that is’’ when watching TV will never get old.
