Peters out of touch

I’ll no longer take Winston Peters seriously. His petty, ignorant Don Brash, Judith Collins attention-seeking opinions regarding the use of te reo within Government kaupapa illustrate his out-oftouch view. No doubt he is an articulate intelligent person.

His comments regarding the resurgence of the Ma¯ ori language personify why we need independent Ma¯ ori seats. His majority of Pa¯ keha¯ Grey Power supporters are his key demographic, not the thousands of Ma¯ ori who helped resurge his political ambitions and were then done the dirty on when he went into a coalition government with National.
