Burnley ‘won’t sell Wood’

Burnley will reject any bid for All Whites striker Chris Wood after reported interest from Premier League relegation rivals Newcastle United, according to English media reports. A Daily Telegraph story on Monday claimed Newcastle were keen to lure the Kiwi forward. But latest reports from rival media claim Wood won’t be going anywhere in the January transfer window. The Lancs Live website, which covers Burnley, said it understood no offer has been made for Wood.
