Security head steps down
Rebecca Kitteridge will step down from her role as the head of the Security Intelligence Service to become deputy public service commissioner. The position helps the public service commissioner to lead the civil service. Public Service Minister Chris Hipkins said Kitteridge was a dedicated and professional public servant. ‘‘She understands what makes a high-performing organisation and the nature of leadership, at the agency level and across the public service,’’ Hipkins said. She has been appointed to her new role for five years from March 1.
