Ministry’s faux pax with ministers
The Ministry for Culture and Heritage incorrectly described Associate Minister for Arts, Culture and Heritage Kiri Allan as her colleague, Arts Culture and Heritage Minister Carmel Sepuloni in its annual report. A spokesperson for the ministry said page 90 of its annual report had an incorrect caption. The ministry amended this in its digital copy of the annual report that is available online but it was too late for printed copies. The photograph shows Allan in a mask, watching some tape being cleaned as part of Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision’s multi-year Utaina digital preservation project that is based in Lower Hutt. However, the incorrectly captioned annual report said that Sepuloni was pictured in the photo, not Allan.
