HighLight Carnival to illuminate
HighLight Carnival of Lights is returning to Wellington next year, being held in and around Brewtown in Upper Hutt over Easter weekend from April 6-9. The major event is known for delivering immersive experiences that include performers, artists, and light installations colliding to create a fun carnival atmosphere. The festival originally took place at Riddiford Garden in Lower Hutt but has not been held since 2019. Upper Hutt City Council partnered with Late Night Lights to bring life back to the event. Tickets will provide access to the carnival hub at Brewtown, however several light installations throughout Upper Hutt can be enjoyed for free. Tickets on sale now from highlight.org.nz – $10 for adults, children 14 and under free.
