Lack of sympathy

What a disgusting display from the Reserve Bank bigwigs announcing their crippling OCR hike. Not a hint of compassion or care for the thousands of people who face increasing stress and hardship. Just arrogance, and simpering giggles from smug cronies laughing at their boss’ jokes.

If harsh steps are needed for the general good, let them be taken. But deliver them with a hint of sincerity and sympathy for those affected.
