In 2023, on the centenary of her death, internationally renowned modernist writer Katherine Mansfield will be celebrated throughout Aotearoa and the world. Mansfield was born in Wellington in 1888 and died in France on January 9, 1923. Throughout 2023, Wellington’s Katherine Mansfield House & Garden is coordinating a global opportunity to celebrate Katherine Mansfield. The website km23.co.nz will host a calendar of events happening across Aotearoa and around the world in 2023. Anyone interested in hosting or creating an event to celebrate Mansfield or an aspect of her life and work can submit events to be listed on the site. The website will also host a set of logos and posters that can be downloaded and used by anyone wanting to celebrate Mansfield’s life and work.
