Helen Quirke sent us this photo of a group of workers in the 1930s. The workers were employed by the government during the 1930s depression years to build the Mohaka Viaduct. They are pictured here with Minister of Works, Bob Semple. Helen’s father, Harold Whatt, is third from left in the third row.
