Fiscal travesty

Adrian Orr claims the public have the power to reduce economic contraction, if we cut our spending and our demand for higher wages.

What a travesty of fiscal management. These policies are in effect a tax on the poor, who already slash their spending.

Help them and cut the GST on food. Only wealthy highly paid public servants and SOEs have the choice to ‘‘spend less’’ .

I’m incredulous.
