Vexed by extra fees
Recently I booked a seat for a concert which was advertised for a price.
I am annoyed that on proceeding with the booking, fees were added (‘‘per item fees – processing for allocated seating) and an order processing fee.
Surely when I am accepting an offer that price should not be loaded after that.
I realise that there are other costs involved, but they should be included in the offer.
Now I am wondering if I’ll be charged an additional amount before entering the venue to pay for the electricity used or to pay for the use of the doormat.
Why do we allow these surcharges to offered price?
In a supermarket I would walk out if I were told to pay extra at the checkout.
