Historic buildings in Rangiora

For a small town, Rangiora appears to have more than its share of historically interesting architecture. Heritage New Zealand Historical Place Category 2 listings in Rangiora include the historic octagonal band rotunda (1907) in Victoria Park; the striking ornamental classical-style domed ceiling in the Council Chambers Gallery (1907) of the Rangiora library building; and the extraordinary façade of the town hall (1925/26) with its distinctive dome and classical features.
