Younger sister to the original version based in central Christchurch, Rangiora's Mediterranean Food Company is a divine taste of all things Italian to be enjoyed both at home by way of pantry products or in the delightful café on site. The Italian-inspired menu encompasses authentic pizzas (no tinned pineapple in sight) as well as fresh pasta, salads and platters full of goodies from the store. And speaking of the store goodies, the products on offer are as authentic as it gets – Parma ham, Parmigiano Reggiano, salami, dried pasta, oils and sauces straight from the Mediterranean and ready and waiting to transform dinner tables. Closed Sunday and Monday.
