Wildlife top tips

• Penguins: In late Feb-March, penguins are moulting and growing new waterproof feathers so they cannot go to sea for 3-4 weeks. During this time they are particularly vulnerable so it’s more important than ever not to disturb them.

• Sea lions: Sea lions are not afraid of humans and despite their size can move quickly. Always keep a minimum of 10m away if they are sleeping, or 20m if active.
