Waitoa Park Golf Club
Waitoa Park Golf Club is a relative newbie, founded in 1973. The pretty, rural 9-hole course is only a 5-minute drive south of Ōamaru. Club members pride themselves on their friendliness and visitors are welcome. Expect a round that is challenging and fun. A hedge that surrounds most of the course offers welcome shelter, and there are also plenty of trees. Although the terrain is flat don't expect a leisurely walk in the park, traps include bunkers and a ridge. The number one stroke hole is the par-3
