Kevin Hopgood's restaurant is well known in Nelson to anyone wanting fine dining without pretension. Hopgood's and Co. was not only awarded Two Chefs Hats in the 2019 Cuisine Fine Food Awards but head chef Aaron Ballantyne was named a Silver Fern Farms ambassador after winning the Best Dish and Best Chef awards for a venison recipe.
