The Insider's Guide to New Zealand

David Trubridge

-

As a child growing up in Britain, David Trubridge used to collect discarded match sticks from the promenade of his local beach, with which he used to build tiny boats and houses. That meticulous eye for detail and ability to create beautiful pieces that are a sum of multiple parts has carried into his adult work and global lighting business. David's work has been featured in international design exhibitions at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and Musée National d'Art Moderne, Paris, and more recently hangs from the forest giants at Redwoods Treewalk in Rotorua. To see his works up close, hold tight to the credit card and pop into the showroom in Whakatū, where the team bring bespoke designs to life.
