Art Inc Heretaunga, Hastings Community Art Centre

Arts Inc Heretaunga is a community hub for artists and arts-related events. The gallery space exhibits as many as 600 artists a year, with large and small pieces for sale to the public. The centre also puts together community arts events such as Summer in the Parks, Jazz on the Village Green and the Hawke’s Bay Arts Festival and creates the Hawke’s Bay Arts Guide in partnership with Creative Arts Napier. The centre is located in the old The Harvey’s Building, a former silverware and china department store built in 1931 in the Spanish Mission style.
