Foxton Beach skatepark and pump track

This skate park in Holben Reserve Park was named Active Park of the Year in 2019 at the Recreation Aotearoa New Zealand Parks Awards, and it's fully deserving of the accolade. Offering tracks suitable for a range of skills or wheels, the pump track bumps, berms, winds and rolls around appropriately beachy landscaping. Just across a wee bridge is another play area to burn off more youthful energy, with playing fields beyond. The toilets are good, and there are plenty of spots to picnic.
