Clau­dia on a role in the Big Ap­ple

A Nel­son ac­tress has found her­self on a film set with Alec Bald­win twice in the past two years.

New York-based Clau­dia Peters was the as­sis­tant to di­rec­tor Michael Mailer on set of the movie Blind in 2016.

A year later, she found her­self on set with Alec Bald­win once again, this time as the stand-in for Si­enna Miller in the Amer­i­can drama The Pri­vate Life Of A Mod­ern Woman.

On the act­ing front Peters, 23, hasn’t been sit­ting still ei­ther.

In her lat­est project she is in pre-pro­duc­tion for a movie, directed by Sex and the City ac­tress Jen­nifer Gelfer, in which she plays In­sta­gram model who be­gins to ques­tion the peo­ple she lets into her life as a deadly stalker be­comes her most ac­tive fol­lower. The Sec­ond Sun,

Peters said build­ing up re­sumes and movie reels at home was a good place to start, even if they were shot with an iPhone.

‘‘Be bold and make that move, if you’ve al­ways wanted to talk to a spe­cific agency, send in your ma­te­ri­als to them.

‘‘If you want to move, put your mind to it, and you can make it pos­si­ble.’’


Clau­dia Peters said she found her pas­sion for act­ing af­ter join­ing the Nel­son Youth Theatre.
