Since Tuesday’s attack, residents of Manchester of all races and religious beliefs have been united in their grief and horror. Yesterday, Muslim man Sadiq Patelin and Jewish woman Renee Rachel Black shared a quiet moment that captured how they city has come together. They prayed next to each other in the city’s Albert Square, where flower tributes have been laid and vigils held since 22 people were killed and dozens were wounded after a concert by the US pop star Ariana Grande. After paying their respects, they shared a quiet word and then Patelin offered Black his arm as they walked away
