Americans Jack Sock and Ryan Harrison put the United States into the last four of the Davis Cup for the first time since 2012 by beating Sander Gille and Joran Vliegen 5-7 7-6 (7-1) 7-6 (7-3) 6-4 of Belgium in Nashville. The win gave the US an unassailable 3-0 lead. Holders France took a 2-1 lead in their tie with Italy, while Croatia lead Kazakhstan 2-1.
