Synchronise lights

-

There has been a lot of talk over the past week about traffic and the tax increase that will help unclog Auckland’s roads, but why not start by doing the basics — that’s having traffic lights synchronised.

Every medium sized town in the world does it.

That’s the most obvious and less expensive way to have traffic running. Having lights synchronised means less time on the road, less fuel burned so less CO in the air and more money saved. I really can’t see why this has not been done yet. Jordan Zagonel, Auckland Central.
