Classroom surveillance

-

Dave Millar suggests the use of hidden CCTV in classrooms as a form of protection against false accusations. Why hidden? It’s high time we followed the practice of classrooms in “difficult” cities such as those found in the UK and install cameras in all areas of schools, not just one or two places. For those worried about so-called privacy, CCTV is throughout the country already. They would surely act as a deterrent, and help reduce bullying as well. Zac Lucas, Grey Lynn.
