PB for Mathas

Melbourne-based runner Brad Mathas produced a personal best time of 1m 46.32s to qualify for the semifinals of the 800m tomorrow night. He was fourth in his heat, fifth overall. Sprinter Joseph Miller is into his 200m semifinals, but only just. He was 23rd best out of 24 qualifiers with 21.10s in finishing second in his heat. However Cameron French bowed out, finishing sixth in his heat of the 400m hurdles.
