Walking backwards

The new minority parties’ Government seems devoid of any original ideas of merit of their own, as they are constantly referring to the disastrous inheritance from the last Government on nearly every topic. They have mastered the art of walking around backwards. What they cleverly avoid is mentioning the inheritance of one of the most robust financial positions of any developed country in the world. I shudder to think what they would be doing if they had inherited a financial position that was truly bad. Gerald Taylor, Bucklands Beach.
