Injuries ‘deliberate’

Deliberate head injuries caused the death of an 18-month-old South Waikato girl, police say. Comfort Joy Witeri-Thompson died on Tuesday at Waikato Hospital. Detective Senior Sergeant Matt Cranshaw said police believed the injuries “were deliberately inflicted”.
