Rock climber dies

A woman died yesterday at a popular rock climbing spot in the Coromandel. Emergency services were called to Castle Rock near Whitianga just before 10.30am. Police said the death was being treated as unexplained. Castle Rock is a 525m high mountain which attracts many climbers at weekends.
