LET THAILAND TEMPT YOU…

-

Renowned for its lavish temples, unique culture, delectable cuisine, colourful markets, white sandy beaches and buzzing nightlife; Thailand has something for everyone.

Check out our top picks.

1. Take a Tuk-tuk ride in Bangkok

Tuk-tuk is a three-wheeled motor vehicle used as a taxi. However, riding in a tuk-tuk is more of an experience rather than a practical way to get around town. Tip: Take a tuk-tuk for a short trip and during non-peak hours. Or, if you are after a greater adventure, you can opt to tour Bangkok in a tuk-tuk with lots of tour options available.

2. Get clothes tailor-made

Like most countries in Asia, Thailand is a great place to get tailor-made suits, shirts, trousers & dresses, for a fraction of the price you’d pay here. Tip: planning is essential. If you have decided to get clothes tailor-made be sure to either carry a sample of the item of clothing that the tailor can copy and replicate or get a photograph of what you would like.

3. Indulge in a Thai Cooking Class

Take the flavours of Thailand back home by learning to cook your favourite Thai dishes. Just five minutes from the busy Chaweng in Koh Samui is Chanita’s mountainside Thai Cooking School and restaurant where you can learn to cook a 3 course Thai meal.

4. Lounge the whole day at the beach

Chaweng Beach is most likely Koh Samui’s busiest beach offering great swimming & plenty of water sports options as well as dining and accommodation options.

5. Experience an authentic Thai festival

Loy Krathong (Thai lantern festival) in November sees the most beautiful display of floating candles, flowers and lanterns. helloworld.co.nz 0800 30 31 32
