First rest for Ioane

Star Blues rugby winger Rieko Ioane will miss his side’s clash against the Brumbies in Canberra this weekend as he observes an All Blacks enforced rest week. It will be the first time this season Ioane has been given a week off, having played in each of the side’s first nine matches. Ioane has been a huge feature in the Blues’ attack this season, scoring eight of the side’s 26 tries to lead to competition in try scoring alongside Crusaders’ back Will Jordan and Rebels wing Jack Maddocks.
