Fisherman dies

A body found at Clifton Beach in Hawke’s Bay was missing fisherman Timothy Langford, police said last night. The 75-year-old was fly-fishing in the Tukituki River but failed to return by nightfall on Saturday. He was fishing with a friend but the pair later split up. A member of the public reported the body about 8am yesterday.
